Another year, I have the honour of presenting the annual report, expressing my gratitude first and foremost to the team at Fundación ECOTIC and ECOTIC Entidad Administradora S.L. On behalf of the Board of Trustees and the Board of Directors, we highlight their commitment and professional excellence, essential values for achieving the entity’s successes and establishing ourselves as a benchmark in the management of electrical and electronic equipment (EEE) in Spain.

This success, stemming from constant and efficient work, drives us to focus even more on developing strategies that promote awareness of prevention, reuse and recycling to foster a circular future. In this journey, Extended Producer Responsibility Collective Systems (EPRCS) emerge as crucial components.

It is essential to understand that responsibility in the circular economy rests with all actors in the chain. Producers, managers, distributors and consumers alike must be aware of our role in meeting regulatory goals and promoting the development of a circular economy. Active collaboration from each party is essential to achieve ambitious goals and build a more sustainable society.

Strategic collaboration entails adopting new collaborative management styles with competing entities, thereby facilitating an exchange of knowledge and resources to advance innovative sustainability solutions. These partnerships provide the opportunity to collectively address challenges, leveraging experience and diverse perspectives to make a significant impact. In an increasingly interconnected world, we acknowledge the importance of responsible and collaborative management in addressing environmental challenges.

With a comprehensive vision, we continue advancing towards sustainability, expanding our reach and reaching more sectors. Through the establishment of the new Fundación ECOTIC Clima and Asociación ECOTIC Envases, we further strengthen the robustness of our management model and provide comprehensive services to our affiliated producers.
